Our Commitment to Child Saftey
Your child’s safety is never assumed, it’s carefully planned, monitored, and protected through clear systems, boundaries, and professional care.
Secure Entry & Exit
All entry points are secured with passcode access, and doors remain closed throughout the day. Children are only released to authorised adults, ensuring full control over who enters and leaves our centre.
Supervised at All Times
Children are actively supervised during all indoor and outdoor activities, with educator-to-child ratios that meet or exceed regulatory requirements. Clear handovers between educators ensure continuity of care throughout the day.
Strict Visitor Protocols
All visitors must ring the doorbell, sign in, and be verified before entering the centre. Visitors are supervised at all times and do not have unsupervised access to children or learning areas.
Controlled Use of Devices
Personal mobile phones are not used in rooms or during social events. Photos or videos are only taken for approved educational or communication purposes, and never without written parent consent.
Privacy & Photo Protection
Your child’s privacy is respected at all times. Images are shared only with families through approved channels, and never used externally or on social media without explicit permission.
Open Family Communication
We believe safety includes transparency. Families are informed promptly about incidents, concerns, or changes, and are encouraged to communicate openly with educators and management at any time.
What Families Love About Babyccino Childcare Centre
FAQs
Are meals and snacks provided?
Yes. We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea daily. Meals are prepared with children’s health and hygiene in mind, and we work closely with families to support allergies and specific dietary requirements.
What do families need to provide?
Nappies and milk are provided by the service. Families are asked to supply formula (if required), bottles, fitted cot sheets, comfort items, and any other individual items needed to support their child’s routine. For hygiene purposes, families are required to provide their child’s own cot sheets. Sheets will be sent home at the end of each week for families to wash and return at the start of the following week. Our educators work closely with families to ensure consistency between home and care and to support each child’s individual needs.
How do you support children’s health, safety, and wellbeing?
Children’s wellbeing is a priority at Babyccino. Our educators follow safe sleep practices, hygiene procedures, and maintain close supervision at all times, creating a calm, secure, and supportive environment for every child. All staff members hold current and appropriate child protection training, ensuring they are equipped to identify and respond to concerns and uphold the highest standards of care and safety.
Will my child be cared for by the same educators?
Yes. Consistency of care is a key focus. Many of our educators have been part of Babyccino for 5–15 years, allowing children to build strong, secure relationships with familiar caregivers.
Do you offer a preschool or transition-to-school program?
Yes. Our Preschool (3–5 years) program supports school readiness through play-based learning, independence, early literacy and numeracy, and social development. Children also participate in experiences that help prepare them for the transition to school.
